ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTE – HOME IMPROVEMENT APPROVAL REQUEST

(Serving Heathwood, Lakeview Forest, and Woods of Lakeside)

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is composed of volunteers who will help you navigate our deed restrictions on your exterior home improvements—roofs, siding, gazebos, driveways, etc. Foundation work does not require approval.

All exterior modifications to your property must be approved in advance by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC).

The Architectural Control Committee has up to 30 days after receipt of a completed application to make a decision, so please submit the request far enough ahead of time. For your own protection, do not start the improvement until you have received written approval. The Flowchart of ACC Approval Process can be found here.

It is recommended that you review the Association Governing Documents to make sure that your request is in compliance with the deed restrictions, amendments and interpretations for your neighborhood, Heathlake, Heathwood, Woods of Lakeside or Lakeview Forest, the utility easement guidelines, and separate regulations for solar panels, roofs shingles, flags, flag poles, religious items and rain barrels.

The ACC will review your request to make sure that the improvement will be done in a professional, sound manner and will fit in with the aesthetics of the community. Please provide as much detail as possible so that the ACC can properly understand your request. Without a complete description of your request, the form will have to be returned for more information.

To request approval for improvement, download, fill out, and email the ACC form to ARC at Graham Management (arc@grahammanagementhouston.com 713-334-8000) with copy to the ACC members: Eric Nagel, Chair at eric.nagel@teekay.com; Chris Kay at ckhm2017@gmail.com; and Peter Forster at pgforster@gmail.com.
